Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and a member of the SSC's board since 2011. She is the founder and co-artistic director of the recently established theater company Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. Also, she was the producer Costume/set designer, writer/musician, and coach of the text for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. In her final year she served as director of lighting and design for SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble and in this year's production began her first directorial experience.
